Terry and Julie Brown of Hoxie and Shelley and Tom Pruett of Colby announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Renae Brown, to Nicholas Ross Roudybush, son of Chris and Susan Roudybush of Ellsworth.
The bride-to-be’s grandparents are Glen and Molly Brown of Hoxie and the late Lester and Maevis Chapman, who lived in Hoxie.
Nicole was born in Medford, Ore., and was graduated from Hoxie High School in 2007. She is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor’s degree in medical diagnostic imaging. She is a radiologic technologist at the Sheridan County Health Complex, Hoxie.
The prospective bridegroom’s grandparents are the late Milford and Ivagene Humbargar, Margaret Roudybush and the late Ralph Roudybush, who all lived in Salina. Nicholas was born in Salina and was graduated from Ellsworth High School in 2008. He received an associate degree in Caterpillar diesel technology from Oklahoma State University. He works at Foley Equipment, Colby.
The couple plans to be married April 28 at the Lutheran Church in Hoxie.
