The “water-melion” days are drawing near.
Dr. Sternberg has sold his cattle to J.F. Baker of Bluff Creek, this county.
Lewis Brusher sold 17 head of 3-year-old steers last week for $40 per head.
C.F. Clark is having a handsome picket fence around his residence.
Eight new threshing machines were unloaded from the cars at the depot in this city, one day last week.
Benjamin Shaffer sent us a sample of his corn and early Amber sugar cane, last week. It is the largest and best we have received.
