ELLSWORTH — The Beloit Trojans overwhelmed the Bearcats 46-14 at Shanelec Field tonight. The Ellsworth offense never got rolling, although Chyler Hudson and Jacob Froese each had some nice runs. The ‘Cats are now 1-1 for the season.

The Lady Bearcats host the annual Ellsworth Invitational Volleyball Tournament and are slated to play at 8 and 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

CLAFLIN — The Cougars of Otis-Bison blocked, tackled and ran to a 50-14 victory over the Central Plains Oilers in the first home game for the Oilers team. Central Plains is now 1-1 for the season.

The Lady Oilers will compete in the Ellsworth Invitational Volleyball Tournament tomorrow.

NATOMA—The Wilson Dragons whipped Natoma 56-34 in Natoma, making them 1-1 for the season.

The Lady Dragons travel to Miltonvale for the Miltonvale Volleyball tournament Saturday morning.
