At 8:15 a.m. Monday, Pamela L. Maynez, 22, Dodge City, was driving northeast on K-156 Highway in a 2005 Nissan Altima. At the same time, H. Kathryn Little, 74, Beverly, was driving southwest on K-156. At milepost 160.5, Maynez fell asleep, and her car drifted across the center line and collided with the Little car. Maynez was injured in the accident, and taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Her condition was not released.
Little was also injured and was taken to Salina Regional Health Center where she was treated and released.
