Runway replacement on airport agenda

Ellsworth has one of the best small town airports in the region and local supporters want to make it even better - by building a new runway to the east of the existing structure.

The Federal Aviation Administration would pick up 90 percent of the cost under current funding programs. However, several landowners don't want to sell their property to the city for the new runway.
