CHASE -- The Wilson Dragons lost a marathon 8-man Division II scorefest 103-68 to the Kats in a game that had little, if any, defense by either team.
LINCOLN -- The Lady Dragons whipped the Lady Leopards of Lincoln in two games of volleyball Tuesday, and escaped with a win in three games over a very young and talented Tescott team.
CLAY CENTER -- The Bearcats of Ellsworth defeated Clay Center 19-6 on the road. Quarterback Jacob Froese ran for two touchdowns and passed to Shane Wilson for the third in the win.
STERLING -- The Lady Bearcats lost two games to Sterling but defeated a good Ellinwood team in three games Thursday in a triangular in Sterling.
WICHITA -- No surprise that the talent-laden Oilers of Central Plains won its first game 56-0 in Wichita.
CHASE -- The Lady Oilers are undefeated as they beat Wilson, Natoma and Chase in a volleyball quadrangular Thursday.
