Former NFL player offers some straight talk

A former Minnesota Viking safety made several parenting interceptions during a straight-forward talk to parents Aug. 25, at Central Plains High School in Claflin.
While describing himself as not a parenting expert, Keith Nord from Minneapolis, Minn., did admit to having strong opinions on the subject.
“You need to talk to your kids,” he said. “There are some things we can do to help our kids make great choices.”
