Claflin discusses dilapidated structures

POSTED: September 23, 2011 7:00 a.m.

The future of dilapidated structures was discussed at the Sept. 12 meeting of the Claflin City Council.
The extension for demolition on several structures was Aug. 31, and nothing has been done with these structures. Department head Richard Hayes will talk to the owners, and if they do not remove the structures, the city will either remove or have the structures removed, and the owner will be billed.  Several other dilapidated structures were discussed and placed on the October agenda.

Pick up a copy of the Sept. 22, 2011, edition of the I-R for more on the Claflin City Council meeting.
