Kimbree Wright and Anthony Hopkins are happy to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
Kimbree is the daughter of Jana Wright-Arensman, Kanopolis and Randy and Angela Bunch, Kanopolis.
Anthony is the son of Michelle Johnson, Lindsborg and Edward Hopkins Jr., Salina. 
The bride-to-be graduated from Ellsworth High School and Barton Community College with a degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse for Good Samaritan Society Home Health in Ellsworth.
The groom graduated from Smoky Valley High School in Lindsborg and attended Hutchinson Community College and Bethany College. He works for Weis Fire and Safety Equipment in Salina as an industrial and municipal manager.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Ona Wright, Ellsworth, and the late Joe Lee Wright. Grandparents of the groom are Edward Hopkins Sr., Lindsborg, and the late Virginia Hopkins; and the late Danver and Sybil Johnson, who lived in Marquette.
The couple plans an outdoor wedding Oct. 1, 2011 in Kanopolis. The couple will reside in Ellsworth.
