Marvin and Bernita Bush will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Easter Sunday with family and a vacation later on.
Marvin Bush and Bernita Peterman were married April 8, 1962, at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North Ellsworth. Marvin is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for various companies and retired from the City of Ellsworth as supervisor for an inmate work detail.
Bernita is retired from the Peterson & Kasper law office, where she worked as a legal secretary.
The couple has three sons, Mike of Kanopolis and Troy and Craig, both of Wichita.
The Bushes live at 202 Blaine, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
