Black Wolf

The 14th annual reunion of the Black Wolf Community was Sept. 11 at the Ellsworth Senior Center, along with the first reunion of the Black Wolf 4-H Club. Following the potluck dinner, a program on history of the 4-H Club was given by John Krupp and Jim Homolka. Pictures were displayed from 4-H activities such as the 4-H fair and club tour. Black Family

Brooke Jolee Payton, 1-year old daughter of Taylor Payton, is the beginning of the eighth generation of the Irvin D. and Bertha (Kuntz) Black family. A potluck dinner was held at noon July 30 at the community building in Brookville with homemade ice cream. Forty-seven relatives and friends spent the afternoon  visiting, reviewing genealogy, taking pictures and playing at the park. Read More
