Wilson Legion Auxiliary

The Wilson Legion Auxiliary met at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 13 with 10 members present. The meeting was called to order by Sherri. The flag salute was said and a prayer was led by Fran.
The minutes and treasurer’s report were read and approved. There were no communications.
In old business, the winners for the Czech Day Raffle are as follows:  Helen Homeier, TV; Ben Frevert, the cooler; Mary Koetkemeyer and Shirley Peirano each won a chair; Alan Soukup, wind feather; Richard Joyce, wind sock; and Sue Lantz, the basket. It was suggested next year to print more raffle tickets.
In new business, the auxiliary has been asked to host the district coffee tour Sept. 28.
A steak feed will be held Oct. 8. 
The Sons have asked if the auxiliary would be willing to help with a breakfast in December. There will be more information later.
Veterans Day was discussed. Prices for the lunch are soup, $2.50; chili dog, $2.50; hot dog, $1.50; pie, $1.50; pop $.75; and tea or coffee, $.50. Members will be asked to bring a pie.
The club will again do unwrapped Christmas gifts for the Veterans Hospital.
The next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 11.
