PRATT --- In their inaugural season, the Lady Oilers of Central Plains won a berth in the 2A state tournament tonight by defeating the Lady Black Bears of Sterling 55-53 at the 2A sub-state tournament at Pratt Skyline.

It was sweet revenge for the Lady O’s, as the Lady Black Bears handed Central Plains a defeat earlier in the season at the Southeast of Saline tournament in Gypsum.

BELOIT --- The Hope Lions ended a great season of basketball for the Wilson Dragons, winning 47-45 in the finals seconds of the game on a controversial call as Jake Stoppel was going up for the winning basket.
