Lady ‘Cats win two games in opener

BELLEVILLE -- The Lady Bearcat volleyball team won the season’s opener in two games Tuesday, defeating North Central Activities Association rivals Republic County.

The junior varsity and c-teams both split their games with the Lady Buffaloes.

ELLSWORTH --The Lady Bearcat tennis team hosted the Ellsworth Invitational tournament at Ellsworth Tuesday. Also playing at the tournament were the Lady Oilers of Central Plains. Results were not available at post time.
