WILSON --- Running back Marcus Denham rushed for 303 yards and seven touchdowns behind the good blocking of Alex Borell, Jarod Shelton, John Rich and Cole Zelenka in the Dragons’ 82-36 Homecoming rout of Tescott in Wilson.
HAYS --- The Bearcats made mincemeat of the Monarchs of Hays Thomas Moore Prep, winning by a score of 50-35 on the road in Hays.
In other NCAA scores --- Beloit unhorsed the previously undefeated Knights of Sacred Heart by a convincing 70-20 win in Salina; Russell won the battle of turnovers, defeating Republic County for its first win of the season and Minneapolis beat Southeast of Saline 27-7.
VICTORIA --- The Oilers fell to the Knights of Victoria 40-22 in Victoria.
