RUSSELL — On the girls’ side, the quarter-finals of the Amos Morris Basketball Tournament will pit two Ellsworth County teams — The 3A Lady ‘Cats of Ellsworth and the 2A Lady O’s of Central Plains. Game time will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at Russell High School.

In boys’ action, an impressive Central Plains team will take on Phillipsburg which is much better team than last season. Game time is slated at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at Russell High School.

The 3A Ellsworth Bearcats will meet a salty 2A Ell-Saline team in the consolation bracket with the game beginning at 5:30 pm. Friday, Dec. 7 at Ruppenthal Middle School.

TESCOTT — The top-ranked 1A Lady Dragons of Wilson will play host team Tescott at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 in Tescott. The Dragons will play the Tescott Trojans following the girl’s game at approximately 7 p.m.
