ELLSWORTH --- The Bearcats played a first good quarter, but Republic County pulled away to get a 71-41 victory over the ‘Cats Friday in Ellsworth.

The second-ranked 2A Lady Buffaloes pulled away from the Lady ‘Cats in the second quarter to post a 51-29 win in the North Central Activities Association League game.

CLAFLIN --- The Lady O’s decimated Macksville in Central Prairie League action Friday winning by a lopsided score of 69-27.

Macksville defeated the Oilers by a score of 75-62.

The Wilson Dragons and the Lady Dragons return to the hardwood Tuesday, Jan. 8 at St. John’s Beloit/Tipton.
