VICTORIA --- The Central Plains Oilers were unhorsed by the 10th-ranked 1A Division I Knights of Victoria, 51-39 in Victoria.
The eighth-ranked 2A Lady O’s --- re-appearing in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Associations rankings --- dispatched the Lady Knights by a score of 61-49.
SALINA --- The Lady Knights of Sacred Heart took the lead at the 3:20 mark of the fourth quarter to win the North Central Athletic Association league game by a score of 45-40 over the Lady’Cats in Salina.
Sophomore Connor Davis scored eight of the Lady ‘Cats’ 12 points in the first quarter.
The Sacred Heart Knights were simply too experienced for the young Bearcat squad, overpowering Ellsworth by a score of 60-25.
Both Wilson teams had byes in the Northern Plains League Tournament in Lincoln.
