WILSON --- The Wilson Dragons put another game in the win column, beating the Warriors of Southern Cloud County 54-37 at the Dragon Den in Wilson.
It was a close game until the opening minutes of the fourth quarter, when the Dragons got hot from the floor and Southern Cloud couldn’t find the bucket.
The third-ranked 1 A Division II Lady Dragons were far too powerful for the Lady Warriors, defeating Southern Cloud by a score of 65-30 in a game that became a preview of Lady Dragon basketball in the 2013-14 season.
Karlie Steinle did not play a full game of basketball, but racked up her seventh double-double of the season.
ELLSWORTH --- The Lady ‘Cats whipped the Lady Trojans of Southeast of Saline by a score of 47-34 in Ellsworth.
The Trojans defeated Ellsworth by a score of 71-60.
NESS CITY --- The Oilers beat Ness City 52-38 in Ness City.
The fifth-ranked 2A Lady Oilers had no trouble handing the Lady Eagles a 64-25 loss in Ness City.
