Sub-state basketball tournament brackets

The sub-state tournament brackets have been set for the week of Feb. 25-March 2.

ELLSWORTH — In the 3A Norton Community sub-state, the Lady Bearcats (12-8) are seeded third and will play seventh-seeded Beloit (8-12) at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25 in Ellsworth.

The Bearcats (3-17) are seeded seventh and will meet fifth-ranked Beloit (18-2) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 in Beloit.

CENTRAL PLAINS — The Oilers (12-8) are seeded third in the 2A Sterling sub-state tournament and will meet (8-12) Medicine Lodge at 7 p.m., Monday Feb. 25 in Claflin.

The fifth-ranked Lady Oilers, (18-3) have the top seed in the tournament and will play 3-17 Medicine Lodge at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 in Claflin.

WILSON — The third-ranked Lady Dragons (17-2) are top-seeded in the 1A Division II Sylvan-Lucas Unified tournament and have a bye in the first round. They will play the winner of the Chase/Otis-Bison game Thursday, Feb. 28 in Sylvan Grove.

The Dragons (9-10) are seeded second and also have a bye in the first round. They will meet the winner of the Sylvan-Lucas Unified/McPherson-Elyria Christian game Friday, March 1 in Sylvan Grove.
