Wednesday sub-state basketball scores

ELLSWORTH — It is statistically hard to beat a team three times in one season, but the Lady ‘Cats pulled it off, defeating the Lady Trojans of Beloit in a squeaker, 52-48 at the Bearcat Lair in Ellsworth.

It was the first post-season win for a Lady ‘Cat basketball team in a long time.

The Lady ‘Cats will face host school Norton Thursday in Norton. Time will be posted as soon as it is available, on this post.

STERLING — The Oilers whipped the Medicine Lodge Indians with a 45-26 win at Sterling College in Sterling.

They will play Inman at 7:30 p.m. Friday, at Sterling College in Sterling.
