CLAFLIN --- The undefeated 2A Lady Oilers beat Kinsley 62-17 in the first round of the Kiowa County sub-State tournament Monday in Claflin. As the top seed in the tournament, the Lady O’s had home court advantage.

The Lady O’s will play arch-rival, St. John-Hudson, Thursday in Greensburg.

BELOIT ---  The fifth-ranked Beloit Trojans looked and played like a state-bound team, beating the scrappy Ellsworth Bearcats 78-45 in the first round of the 3A Hoisington sub-State tournament in Beloit.

It was the final game for the senior team members Grant Glaser, Matthew Keener and Cody Soukup, all of whom played hard the entire season.
