WILSON — The Dragons (8-12) are the third-seeded team in the Otis-Bison 1A Division II sub-State tournament and will meet the 10th-ranked Otis-Bison Cougars (11-8) today (March 6) at 7:30 p.m. at Barton Community College in Great Bend.

The Dragons ran into a bout of illness on the squad towards the end of the regular season. Wilson can possibly pull off the upset, if all the players are sound at game time.

The Lady Dragons (14-5) are the top seed of the tournament and will play Chase (6-14) at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Barton Community College in Great Bend. The Lady Kats are coached by former Quivira Heights Lady T-bird coach Brent Clark, who is good at peaking his teams towards the end of the season with an eye towards the tournament.

The Lady Dragons also battled illness in the final two games of the season and will have to play a heads-up defense to insure a win.
