GREENSBURG — The second-ranked 2A Lady Oilers of Central Plains beat the Lady Tigers for a third game in one season by a score of 38-26, Thursday in Greensburg. The Lady O's remain undefeated.

They will play seventh-ranked Ellinwood at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8 in the 2A sub-State championship game at Greensburg. The Lady Eagles were ranked all season by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association and are a quality team.

GREAT BEND — The Wilson Dragons suffered a 56-38 loss to 10th-ranked Otis-Bison Thursday at Barton Community College in Great Bend.

The loss to the Cougars ends a rebuilding season for the Dragons, who were led by seniors Marcus Denham and Jarod Shelton. The Dragons improved in every outing this season with Trey Fink emerging as a quality defensive player and Kyle Goldwater and Gage Dietz making a lot of nice offensive plays.
