Holyrood considers curfew

POSTED: August 26, 2011 7:00 a.m.

The Holyrood City council decided to move forward with a curfew at their Aug. 15 meeting, having had numerous complaints about vandalism in the city.
“We need to be proactive about this,” said council member Erik Howell. “We need something on the books to make people responsible.”
At the last council meeting, the council instructed police chief Gene Whittey to investigate and draft a curfew ordinance.
