USD 112 moves forward with garage

POSTED: September 16, 2011 7:00 a.m.

After a 10-minnute executive session to discuss matters pertaining to attorney-client priviledge with board attorney John Sherman, the Central Plains USD 112 Board of Education formed a committee to establish specifications for the construction of a new garage at Central Plains High School in Claflin, and to put the project out by sealed bids.
Board members Richard Rugan, Malcolm Shaw and Jerry Bieberle volunteered to serve on the committee.
Before the executive session, board members changed the scope of the project, deciding it is not feasible to be built by students, as was originally intended.

Pick up a copy of the Sept. 18, 2011, edition of the Ellsworth County I-R for more on the school board meeting.
