Flags taken from downtown Kanopolis

The theft of seven U.S. flags from downtown Kanopolis is being investigated by local law enforcement officials.
Kanopolis Police Chief Kenny Bernard said the theft took place sometime during the overnight hours between Nov. 13 and Nov. 14.
“We have no leads at this time,” he said.
Bernard asked anyone with information about this crime to call the Ellsworth County Crime Stoppers toll-free hot line, (800) 222-TIPS (8477). All calls remain anonymous.
