LORRAINE — Postal officials delivered unexpectedly bad news July 27 to a crowd of over 40 residents gathered in the basement of the Lorraine Baptist Church. Because of an emergency discontinuance, the Lorraine Post Office will close its doors today, Thursday, Aug. 4.
