At Monday’s meeting of the Wilson City Council, a discussion began by Mayor David Criswell concerning the service Wilson has received from Smoky Hill Development Corporation became heated at times, as the six members of the audience looked on in stunned silence.
Criswell briefly read from a stack of correspondence the city has had with the corporation over the past few months, noting what he felt was a lack of professional response to the inquiries for information the city requested.
"I just wish you guys could see how poorly we are being served by that organization," Criswell said.
