The Czech Capital of Kansas was rockin’ on the wildside this past weekend, with a combination of new and traditional events designed to please both young and old alike at the 52nd Wilson After Harvest Czech Festival.
For the first time, the festival ran across three days, each one hotter than the last.
Despite the heat, Czech Fest Committee chairperson Kayla Cullens declared it a success.
“I think it’s going great,” Cullens said. “We’ve had such a great turnout Thursday night during our kick-off party. They sold out of food, which is what we wanted. We’ve had nothing but great comments so far.”
