Wilson After Harvest Czech Fest is underway

Four young girls took the first step toward possibly being a future Miss Kansas Czech-Slovak Queen Thursday night at the Wilson School Commons by winning the After Harvest Czech Festival’s Princess and Mini Princess Pageant.
Ava Charowhas, 7, Ellsworth, and Briana Macek, 8, Wilson, both won the little princess portion of the pageant. Ava is the daughter of Peter and Candy Charowhas of Ellsworth, while Briana is the daughter of Joseph and Jana Macek of Wilson.
Winning the mini princess title were Sage Gray, 4, Ellsworth, and Cora Svaty, 6, Sterling. Sage is the daughter of Michael and Paula Gray of Ellsworth, while Cora is the daughter of Seth and Amy Svaty of Sterling.

The Czech Festival continues through Saturday.
