Frances Kay David, 66, Holyrood, left this life Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Ellsworth County Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. David was born May 5, 1946, at Lincoln, the 11th of 12 children born to Bert and Rose (Nelson) Ryan. She attended Lincoln public schools and lived in Ada, Arkansas City and Holyrood. In retirement, she enjoyed her garden, her friends, the Red Hat Society and being a grandmother. She was preceded in death by a son, Greg Alan Brumbaugh, and brothers, Donald, Casey (Kenneth) and Keith; and sisters, Jeannie Spear and Leanna Wallace. Survivors include her husband, Reuven, of the home; daughters, Linda Rohr, Wylie, Texas, and Sheila Brumbaugh Galbreath (Deron), Grenola; grandchildren, Lorelei and Emilie Galbreath and Ashleigh Adams and Kyrsten Rohr; her brothers, Wayne of Lead Hill, Ark., Herb (Danne) of Ozark, Mo., Rich (Gladys) of Lyndon, and Gary of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters, Mary Lou Hoag, of Springfield, Mo., and Bonnie Kissick of Tescott; a brother-in-law, Larry (Sue) Spear of Lincoln; and a sister-in-law, Louise Ryan of Olathe.
