Harriett Carabelle Miller

Harriet Clarabelle Miller, 81, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Home in Ellsworth.

She was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Healey, Kan. to Henry and Viva (Wagonseller) Presuch. Harriet married William T. Miller on Dec. 25, 1962, in Healey. They spent the next 40 plus years living in the Bennington and Wells area. She was a teacher for the Salina schools, a homemaker and later in life, the activity director at the Good Samaritan Home in Minneapolis, Kan. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bennington and the VFW Auxiliary of Minneapolis.

Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, William; and son, Charles Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, Venicia, and husband Ralph of Ellsworth and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Harvest Bible Church, Ellsworth with interment at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Parsons Funeral Home as well as 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
