Helen A. Moxter, 88, of Ellsworth, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at her home. She was born Oct. 11, 1924 near Tipton, to Gertrude (Wessling) and Felix Gengler. She was a farm wife while living in Cawker City, and co-owner, with her husband Lawrence, of the Montgomery Ward Agengy store while living in Ellsworth. Helen is survived by her husband, Lawrence, of Ellsworth; daughters Linda Livingston and her husband, Vincent, of Shoreline, Wash., and Beth Ptacek and her husband, Terry, of Pensacola, Fla.; sons Larry of Springfield, Va., and Brad and his wife, Kelley, of Bennington; as well as many nieces and nephews and numerous family members and friends. A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Ellsworth, with Mass at 10 a.m. Following the services, there will be a lunch at the Parish Hall adjoining the church. There will be no interment. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Salina, St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Ellsworth, Good Samaritan Society of Ellsworth, or the donor’s choice, in care of Parson’s Funeral Home, Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
