Floyd Wesley McCall

Floyd Wesley McCall, 83, of Missoula, Mt., former long-time resident of Kanopolis, Kan., passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula.
He was born Nov. 14, 1929, in Kanopolis to John and Minnie McCall.  Floyd graduated from Kanopolis High School and went to work immediately for the salt mine in Kanopolis, where he remained until retirement. He and his high school sweetheart, Madelyn Kennedy, were married Aug. 14, 1947 until Madelyn’s death 53 years later.  They had two daughters, Connie Craft (Maize, Kan.) and Cheryl Archer (Amarillo, Texas).
Floyd married Ruthaleen Murray March 25, 2001. They lived in Mesa, Ariz., until they moved to Missoula in 2011.
A celebration of Floyd’s life will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Kanopolis Methodist Church, followed by burial at the Kanopolis Cemetery.
