Carol A. Vogan, 80, of Salina passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013. She was born Dec. 11, 1932, in Ellsworth. Carol was a homemaker for 24 years. She also volunteered at her church and assisted her husband, John, with Boy Scouts. She then returned to school to finish her education. She went on to earn a real estate license and later became a real estate broker. Carol retired after 20 years in the real estate and property management business. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John R. Livergood, her second husband, Clifford Vogan; her parents, Arleigh Duryee and Jessie Duryee-Hancock; a brother, Eugene Duryee; and a sister, Arlene Guth. Survivors include her children, George (Linda) Livergood, James (Mabel) Livergood, Sondra Akers (Ron Jones), Douglas Livergood, Dennis (Linda) Vogan, Virginia (Stan) Kapinos and Charles (Dee) Vogan; a brother, David Duryee; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the Chapel Memorials may be made to University United Methodist Church, in care of Roselawn Mortuary, P.O.
