Shari Sue Hoeffner

Shari Sue Hoeffner, 62, Little River, passed away Wednesday, March 6, in Hutchinson. She was born Oct. 23, 1950, in Salina, to Herbert G. and Edna Jean (Stratmann) Hoeffner.
Shari was a retired ad rep and writer for the Little River Monitor, as well as a retired school teacher for the Lyons Special Education Co-Op.
Shari is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Buckley and granddaughter, Ashlynn, both of Springfield, Mo.; her mother, Edna Jean Pflughoeft of Ellsworth; a brother, Jerry Hoeffner of Ulysses; and sister, Dede Gregory of Beatrice, Neb. She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation is from 1 to 8 p.m, Sunday, March 10, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, at Parsons Funeral Home, with burial following in the St. Peter Lutheran Church cemetery, Holyrood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Reno County in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
