Glenda K. Jensen

Glenda K. Jensen, 70, passed away Thursday, March 7, in Salina. She was born Oct. 7, 1942, in Norfolk, Neb., to Forrest and Jeanette (Jacobi) Salyers.

Living most of her life in Ellsworth, Glenda was a homemaker and retired Realtor. She married Merlegene Jensen, Feb. 4, 1960, in Salina. She was a member of the Ellsworth County Historical Society and the First United Methodist Church.

Glenda is survived by her husband; son, Mark Jensen, and wife Nancy of Ellsworth and their children ,Tyler and Derek; daughter, Kerstin, and husband David Lang of Ellsworth and their children, Trevor and Chelsea and husband Josh Clough, and their son Parker; brothers, Forrest Salyers and wife Vicki of Kansas City, Mo. and William Salyers and wife Debbie of Overland Park; sisters, Joy and husband Warren Shaw of Overland Park, Nina and husband James Drennen of Midwest City, Okla., JoEllen and husband Jeffrey Freeman of Kanopolis, Debbie Randolph of Enid, Okla. and Joni Davis of Kanopolis.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Kathy Curtis and Marva Salyers.

Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, Ellsworth, with burial following in Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Ellsworth County Historical Society, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
