Susan Elaine Kroboth Avery

POSTED: December 6, 2013 12:20 p.m.

Susan Elaine Kroboth Avery, 58, died Oct. 18, 2013, in Pasco, Wash.
Mrs. Avery was born March 25, 1955, in Kanopolis, the daughter of Harlan and Frances Letsch Kroboth. She resided in the Pasco, Wash. area for the last 46 years, and attended schools in Connell, Pasco, and CBC. She was employed by the United States Department of Energy as a program assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harlen and Frances Letsch Kroboth, her husband, Wayne Avery, and son Ryan Tobin.
She is survived by her sister Diane (Ralph) Daniels of Richland, Wash.; adopted parents Dan and Edna Bowman of Kennewick, Wash.; three dogs, Max, Barney and Lucy; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Avery was a strong individual who had to go through some very trying times, dealing with the deaths of her mom, Ryan and Wayne in a short time period, then to battle cancer and beat it. To come back with such a new attitude, to hear her say, “It’s time to start living again,” and she did. Just to know she had so many friends, that she touched people’s lives, is so comforting.
Funeral service was Oct. 25 at Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick, Wash. with Brevin Clifford officiating. Private entombment was in Desert Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Kennewick.
