Eric 'Butch' Muehleisen

Eric “Butch” Muehleisen, 54, Ellinwood, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at the Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
He was born Feb. 25, 1959, at Seattle, Wash., to Eric E. and Dolores  (Selby) Muehleisen. He worked for Golden Belt Printing, Great Bend, as a graphic artist. Butch was an Ellinwood resident since 1988, moving from Ellsworth, and a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Ellinwood.
He married Sharon Choitz March 30, 1979, at Ellsworth. She survives. 
Other survivors are a son, Eric A. Muehleisen and his wife, Brenda, of Hays; two daughters, Shay Kasselman of Ellinwood and Lindsey Eicher and her husband, Reuben of Elkhart, Ind.; his mother, Dolores Muehleisen of Manhattan; a brother, Steve Muehleisen of Great Bend; a sister, Kristin Muehleisen of Manhattan; and six grandchildren, Jacob Kasselman, Joel Kasselman, Carter Muehleisen, Parker Muehleisen, Kyvel Eicher, Averem Eicher.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at the St. John Lutheran Church, Ellinwood, the Rev. Jeffery Frakes officiating.
Memorials may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church or Eric “Butch” Muehlheisen Medical Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Road, Great Bend, Kan. 67530.
