Allison Westerhaus Pool

Allison Westerhaus Pool, 50, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Granbury, Texas.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.

Allison was born Oct. 20, 1963, in Ellsworth, Kan., to William and Barbara Renard Westerhaus. She had lived in Granbury the past two years and worked as a CNA at Cherokee Rose Nursing Home in Glen Rose. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and working in her yard. She loved her family. Allison was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her children, Jamie Nance and Sergio Canales of Saginaw, Jacie Phillips and husband, Kyle, of Mesquite, Justin Pool, Lacie Pool and John Pool, all of Granbury; grandchildren, Matyx Canales, Jaxon Phillips; brothers, Jamie Westerhaus and wife, Tammy, of Granbury, Tad Westerhaus and wife, Merle, of Lipan; niece, Megan Westerhaus; nephew, William Westerhaus; great-niece, Hailey Brown; step-nephew, Chris Brown; step-niece, Alicia Brown.
