Jack Delbert Bettenbrock

 Jack Delbert Bettenbrock, 92, Brookville, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Salina. 
He was born Nov. 2, 1921 in Ellsworth to August and Louise (Barkow) Bettenbrock. A lifetime resident of the Brookville and Ellsworth areas, he was a farmer and rancher.  Jack was a member of the Brookville United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge of Salina.
On Oct. 31, 1964, he married Mable Gile in Salina. She survives. 
Other survivors include his daughter, Debora Breneman (Monty) of Lincoln; a sister, Dorothy Thomas of Ellsworth; grandsons Tyler and Kyle Breneman; and granddaughter Mikayla Breneman. 
He was preceded in death by brothers Buck and Robert.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Apr 5, at the funeral home with burial following in the Ellsworth Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brookville United Methodist Church, in c/o Parsons Funeral Home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth Kan. 67439.
