Leonard F. Robl

Leonard F. Robl, 87, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014, in Bel Aire, Kan.
He was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Great Bend. to Andrew and Mary (Luebbers) Robl. Leonard spent the last 10 years living in Ellsworth having moved from the Claflin area where he was a retired farmer and stockman. He was also a member of the  St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Ellsworth and the Knights of Columbus of Claflin, of which he was a 3rd Degree Knight.
On June 15, 1948, Leonard married Doris Leiker in Bushton, Kan. She survives him.
Other survivors include sons, Terry (Shirley) of Ellsworth, Steve (Vera) of Wichita, Jim (Maureen) of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Paul (Ceilly) of Bailey, Colo.; daughters, Diane Robl (Peg) of Louisville, Ky., Denise (JT) Guy of Abilene, Deanna Daniels of Wichita, and Darcie (Bryan) Green, also of Wichita; sisters, Rita Robl of Wichita and Lorraine Phelan of Ellinwood; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughters Dana and Deanette.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. Vigil service will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, also at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.  Thursday at the Catholic Care Center in the St. Elizabeth’s Chapel, Bel Aire. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Claflin Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Care Center or St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, in c/o Parsons Funeral Home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan.  67439.
