Fred L. Conyers

Fred L. Conyers, 88, passed away Tuesday, May 27, in Topeka. He was born Jan. 25, 1926 in Marion County to Frank and Marie (Kasper) Conyers.
Fred spent most of his life living in Ellsworth, where he worked for Northern Natural Gas of Bushton before moving to Meriden in 1998. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 146 both of Ellsworth.
Fred married Daisy Huseman May 20, 1948 in Ellsworth. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Linda Henderson; brothers, Ken and Jim; and sisters, Janice Unverzagt, Wilma Domson, and JoAnn Wilhelm.
Fred is survived by son, Eldon Conyers and wife, Norma Boge-Conyers, Des Moines, Iowa; grandson, Bo Henderson and wife, Allyson, Ozawkie; granddaughter, Haley Henderson, and great granddaughter, Joslyn Patton, both of Topeka; and sisters, Nancy Snell,  Cheyenne, Wyo., Jane Carlson, Wheatland, Wyo, and Loretta Carlin, Leavenworth, Wash.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 2, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. 
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Lodge 146, Ellsworth, in c/o Parsons Funeral Home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
