Clayton Hunter

 Clayton Hunter, 71, died June 14, 2014, at his home in Wichita.
He was born July 10, 1942, in Rice County to Joseph W. and Dorothy M. (Stratman) Hunter. He grew up in the Geneseo area and had lived in Wichita since 1969. He was an attorney at law and former district director of the Small Business Administration.  Clayton was a member of the American Bar Assn., Sedgwick County Bar Assn., and Washburn University Alumni.
On July 20, 1963, he married Mary Svaty in Ellsworth. She survives.
 Other survivors include son Clayton Tod Hunter of Lawrence; daughters Natalie Estelle Wirths and husband, Randall, of Augusta and Abby Marie Hunter of Kauai, Hawaii; grandchildren Mary Alexis Wirths and Jack Joseph Wirths of Augusta; sisters Estelle Schmidt of Geneseo, Joan Kruse of Liberal and Phyllis Gray of Blackwolf; brothers Wayne Hunter of Sterling and Homer Hunter of Monument.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial following in the Geneseo Cemetery, Geneseo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Geneseo Cemetery, in c/o Parsons Funeral Home, P.O. Box 45, Ellsworth Kan.  67439.
