Dena Sue Orozco

Dena Sue (Wolf) Orozco of Wichita, formerly of Wellington, died Monday afternoon, Aug. 11, 2014, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan. at the age of 58.
A rosary will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug.16, at the All Saints Catholic Church.
Dena was born July 5, 1956, the daughter of Herman M. Wolf and Vera P. (Miller) Wolf. Having graduated with her BSN from Wichita State University where she met her husband, she was proud to be a WSU Shocker alumni and devoted Shocker basketball fan. Dena was proud to be a nurse for 27 years and was a constant volunteer in her husband and daughters’ classrooms. Her daughters and granddaughters were the center of her life. On March 18, 1978, Dena and Joseph Orozco were united in marriage in Wichita. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.
Dena was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Vera Wolf; children, Mary Louise and Elizabeth Ann Orozco, baby girl, and baby boy.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Orozco; daughters, Lydia (Dustin) Schneider, Maria (Jack) Trimmell; grandchildren, Cecilia, Alisia, Miranda Schneider, Iris Trimmell; and sisters, Donna (Dennis) Haggard of Stoddard, Wisc., and Deborah (Dr. Jacob Miller, Jr.) Miller of Virginia Beach, Va.
A memorial has been established with KETCH, 1006 E. Waterman St., Wichita, Kan. 67211.
