ORDINANCE NO.    3037

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
IN THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH, KANSAS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH, KANSAS:
WHEREAS, the following described land is currently within the city limits of the City of Ellsworth, Kansas, and is generally located on the east edge of the City of Ellsworth; and, 
WHEREAS, the property owners have formally requested suitable property zoning in the described area; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Ellsworth, Kansas finds it advisable to update the zoning in the area described;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNIG BODY OF THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH, KANSAS:
That the zoning map for the City of Ellsworth is amended so as to change the zoning of the following described tracts of land.  Said zoning change shall be reflected on the map entitled “Zoning Map of the City of Ellsworth.”
SECTION 1. That the following described land’s zoning is being amended to reflect the request for R2 zoning by the property owner:
    From R1 to R2:
    Lots Two (2), Three (3), and Four (4)
    of Block Two (2) of First Bank Kansas Addition
    to the City of Ellsworth, Ellsworth County, Kansas
    as re-platted (Replat) in Plat Book 130 filed
    in the Plat Cabinet 1 of Page 130A in the Register
    of Deeds Office of Ellsworth County, Kansas.

SECTION 2  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official city newspaper.
PASSED by the governing body of the City of Ellsworth, Kansas, this 26th day of November, 2012.
