RESOLUTION NO. 9-2012
RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO CONSIDER
THE ADOPTION OF AN ORGANIZED
COLLECTION SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the local municipal government has a responsibility to provide for the efficient and reliable collection and removal of waste products accumulated within the city limits,
WHEREAS, the local municipal government has a responsibility to limit the accumulation of materials leading to an increase of vermin or nuisance animals,
WHEREAS, the local municipal government has a responsibility to avoid creating a situation that increases blight in the community,
and WHEREAS, the local municipal government has a responsibility to unitize the collection and removal to achieve the most advantageous combination of price and service.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, for the reasons hereinbefore mentioned the City of Wilson will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday April 1, 2013 at the Wilson City Hall 2407 Ave E Wilson, KS.
