Thanks for composing and printing the obituary on Dr Mel Splitter. My wife and I are sad to learn of his passing, but rejoice to have served briefly with him and his good wife Dr Janet in Kathmandu. Janet created my wife Jeanne's floral bouquet for our wedding in Kathmandu in 1973. We all worshiped together in the Rabi Bhawan congregation of expatriates there. Jeanne and I often have remembered the quiet demeanor and cheerful spirit of Drs Mel and Janet. Please convey to Dr Janet and her family our earnest condolences and fellowship in mourning.
