The Carneiro Cafe News MICHELLE VANEK Friday December 18, 2009 Where has time gone ? Either I'm consuming too much coffee or not enough ! Time is racing by...Just now starting my Christmas Shopping ! And the two readers I know I have let me know I missed last weeks blog. To them I say "Thank-you" for reading and letting me know your there... We received about 10 inches of snow from the storm. Roads are a mess right now since it's all melting...Oh, the Blessings that come with Country Living ... We had company during hunting season and they enjoyed visiting Carneiro. They attended The United Methodist Church Sunday service and experienced the personal warmth of a small community church. If your looking to give this Christmas and have not found that "Special" person or family, there is always need for donations to The United Methodist Church Food Basket. There are two locations, Carneiro or Kanopolis. This Sunday is The Carneiro Pot Luck, Christmas Dinner ! We would like to invite each and everyone to come and bring your favorite covered dish. As always we start at 1:00pm and are located inside Webster Hall in the town of Carneiro. "Lab Puppies"...there are still a few left that would love a nice home. If interested please call 472-4534. Chad and Sara bought one of our Lab pups. They already have Gunner and now they have Shooter...cute names ! It's nice that he'll be in the neighborhood and we can enjoy watching him grow up. The Carneiro Cafe MICHELLE VANEK Friday December 04, 2009 Word of "The Carneiro Cafe" is spreading...just this week I received a KEURIG GOURMET BREWING SYSTEM. For those of you who have not had the pleasure...it brews the perfect cup ! With over 200 varieties of coffee to choose from...I'm set ! It seems like Thanksgiving blew by us. Christmas will be here before we know it...but before we get excited about Christmas there is "Hunting Season"... This year is no exception...trucks, hunters, and deer...the season is in full swing...Good luck to all who come out here to hunt...and remember some of the pastures have cattle in them, know the land owner... Guess I better get busy and put up some lights... Cheers ! |
